It's been around a month since I visited Midlands Comic Con with a couple of new cosplayers under my wing. It was a very long day, but worth every moment. Midlands is always the smaller one of Comic Cons here in the UK, but I like the relaxed atmosphere, do whatever, be where ever you desire.

I rummaged through my cosplays to find the oldest one I still own to date. Sailor Mars is as old as my journey through the cosplay world. It was one of my first cosplays and will forever be my favourite. I did a couple of things to spruce her up for the big day and she was convention ready within a few days.

We got there around 9:30am and didn't venture in until around 10:30am by which point the queue reduced down and we easily got through the entrance. Being overwhelmed by the first hour my friends went outside for fresh air whilst I walked around a little more. They soon returned for more of the convention action.

Found a couple of recognizable faces, stood and chatted before taking my first break from the convention. After all the excitement peaked, I got a couple of shots from Fox Eye's Photography. My new found cosplayers enjoyed their time and buzzing for their next convention.

Photos to come.

Next Convention: Birmingham Comic Con
Next Costume: Yoko (S.t.a.r.S) Air Hostess Uniform
